Nothing
beats starting your day with a cup of hot coffee in the morning. The rich
aroma and the caffeine kick from it will surely do away any sleepiness
or last night hang over. Brewing a cup of coffee is not difficult and
the process starts with first roasting the beans followed by grinding
and finally brewing.
Now in modern times, we have an array of equipment to do the job.
In this
web site I have provided a comprehensive collection of information on
coffee related subjects and categorized them under the links on the right

below.

- Coffee Accessories

coffee. Example coffee mugs, thermal

pods, etc.
- Other Coffee Related

is fair trade coffee? How to be in the coffee business and recipes collection.
But first, lets have
a little history lesson about the origin of this famous drink.
Coffee, What is it and it's Origin?
What is
actually this dark liquid? Some even call it the dark gold. Well actually
it comes from the roasted seeds of the coffee plant and these seeds are
also known as coffee beans.
The origin
of coffee is a subject of debate. Some said it originated from Africa
and the the Arabs discovered and planted it. Much later the Europeans
come to know about it and through the efforts of Dutch and French companies
in the past, it became well known world wide.
Despite
the endless varieties of coffee found in cafes, there are actually only
two main types. These are Arabica and Robusta.
Arabica beans have a finer flavor, while the robusta is more bitter and
have a higher caffeine content. In term of price, robusta are cheaper. This
has led to its use as an inexpensive substitute for Arabica in many coffee
blends commercially.
On the
other hand Arabica coffees are still grown and were traditionally named
by the port they were exported from, the two oldest being Mocha, from
Yemen, and Java, from Indonesia. Nowadays, from the labels you can get
more details about the coffee beans. Details like the country of origin,
the region, and sometimes even the producing estate.

Coffee Notes |
The rarest and likely the most extraordinary coffee in the world
is the coffee from Indonesia, known as Kopi Luwak. This is made
from undigested coffee beans that have passed through the digestive
traits of the Civet cat. The Civet likes to eat the finest and
ripest coffee berries. The beans are collected from it's droppings
and washed before being processed. Learn more about Kopi
